Why was the title of this movie changed to Panic Button??

Good question...Lifetime movies seem to have different titles

Don't know, but it is pretty messed up.
The ESCAPE network (subnetwork, or whatever it is...) is advertising POINT OF ENTRY to show later this afternoon, but the over-the-air channel menus show PANIC BUTTON. Go figure.

If not for this thread, I might well have missed that being the same show. I did come here to check the ratings, and get some idea of which actors had the bigger parts. (Note: IMDB is not always helpful about that...)

As for the name change, totally guessing here, but possibly it was done so viewers might confuse if with another movie having a similar name. (Maybe like PANIC ROOM?)
Another remote possibility is *someone* still owns the rights to the movie name, sold it to an up-n-coming new project, and had to change the name as part of the deal. Yes, that is pretty far out there. However, I can name at least a few movie names that have at least FOUR reuses of the title in totally unrelated movies, (specifically NOT remakes)...
