i couldn't stop thinking that the seal prince was a dead ringer for wil wheaton.

i think it was actually him and they are planning a next generation / roman legion crossover. I bet there were some observers behind some holographic rocks the whole time. Data could have been one of the seal people as well (android paint looks a lot like scottish highlands face paint). perhaps a whole away team was amongst them and we never knew.

anywho.. anyone else think that dude was wil wheaton?

The seal Prince was not an unacredited part.
It was played by a guy named Tahar Rahim.

If you are new to using IMDB - there is a wealth of info about every movie.

Simply click on the movie and scroll down - when you see 'Full Cast' go there and you can see every credited part in any film and sometimes and unacredited one.

I too am 'given' to noticing facial similarities and often have to go the full cast to figure out who the actor is.
