*Of course* the guy is going to choose a woman closer to his own age, especially if he wants children some day. Duh.

Plus, when I was in my early 20's (I am a woman, BTW) even someone who was like 27 seemed a LOT older than me. It looks different as you get older though :)

The 20s aren’t that much closer than the 40s; however, the youngest 40 is the same distance from him as the youngest 20, while the oldest 40 is 4.5 times the distance from him as the oldest 20.
