Is it worth watching at all?

Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are two of my favorite actors and I want to know if this is even worth seeing.

I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers.

I just saw it and thought it was a good movie. It certainly isn't Heat, but it was still a very good movie.

a movie together because thats all u got here.

I saw it for free and it was really annoying to watch... so unbelievably predictable. And no good dialogue, like the only thing that made people go see this movie was probably Pacino and De Niro which are two great actors... but they had to play two sucky roles. No depth, like a cheap, late night T.V. drama episode of some random cop show. I would say don't bother watching it. There's nothing that pulls you in. Like if you were skimming through channels on your T.V. and saw this movie, you'd probably switch the channel quickly because it's not that interesting to keep watching.

It's pretty good, not great though. The acting is great and the script is good, even though it sometimes feels cheesy but the directing was terrible. But yes, the movie is really entertaining and it's worth seeing, despite being cheesy sometimes. It's far from Heat, but still good though. 7/10

I figured this movie would have good acting from the the two vet actors and was the main reason I watched it. I've never seen Heat, so I had no expectations. 50 Cent's acting is just as good as DeNiro and Pacino's, so that should be all you need to know.

Central to Unit 27. Jean-Claude Van Damme's robbing a post office. I need back-up.

its waste of time the movie sucks

reply

It sucked. Totally predictable script while De Niro and Pacino barely seem to show up for this. Don't waste your time.

I want the last two hours of my life back. There were a tiny minority of nice moments between the two actors, but if they can't revive this movie, who can? The plot of this suspense thriller failed to suspend me and I was insulted by and indifferent to an unfounded (and intentionally? predictable) plot twist. You're better off watching Heat again (?) or any number of other Pacino or DeNiro movies.

This Pacino-De Niro team up was not in the level of critical and commercial success of the previous movies that they have done together.Although I do believe that the screenplay Russell Gewirtz is somewhat lacking,I still believe that both actors still did their best of what they can do with the script and the story of the movie.Aside from Pacino and DeNiro,Carla Gugino and Brian Dennehy are also worthy of mention in terms of good performances.

A lot of people have criticized this film as they expected more especially with the great cast involved in it.Unfortunately,a lot were disappointed.Others have considered it not worthy of one's time. But for me,I think that it still worthy to see a decent film especially with two legendary actors - De Niro and Pacino - being involved in more than two scenes. Also,I still think that their performances are enough reasons to see and enjoy this movie inspite of not being into the level of The Godfather Part II and Heat.

I saw this movie first in the theater, and thought it was awful. I'm not a prude, but I thought the language was simply gratuitous, and distracting. However, I saw it on tv tonight (wondering if I would just be watching a trailer, after all that gratuitous language was edited out), and found it actually bearable. Seems like once all the sophomoric dialogue is removed, it's not that bad of a flick.
