I actually didn't get ANY of it!

I made the unfortunate decision to watch this tonight as it's on Sky Anytime, and I'm left very confused..

Why did the guy have these visions? Was he mentally ill? Was the whole film a dream? Why did only three of them die? Who was the girl with cancer? His girlfriend? His sister? Did he break up with her before she died? Did she even die? So what did happen to the film (when the two films ended up merging together) then? Who did it? What was with the flies? What did eyes have to do with anything? What was with that old man? Why did he have a big tumour on his neck? Why did the ending happen? What even was the ending? Who was the chick that gave birth at the end? Who was the chick that spewed flies at the end? Was that actress girl the devil child reborn? If so why did his girlfriend/sister appear out of her at the very end? What was this 'seed' business and how exactly did he get rid of it at the end? Did he even get it at all? If the actress girl had chosen the director guy with the visions to be "the one" then why did she go and kiss the producer (I assume he was the producer anyway, even though really I have no clue whatsoever) and pass her previously non-existent lump thing on her neck to him? Are they now going to have devil babies? Why wasn't she given to the devil? Please God don't make a sequel. And finally, WHY ARE ALL THESE ACTORS SO BAD?

I apologise for that lengthy confusion but I really feel I got no answers from this film whatsoever and I am overall very confused and eyes are now ever so slightly freaking me out.

Probably THEE worst film I've seen this year! 2/10

I'm not going to bother with spoiler alerts since you just described the movie.

I did like the gypsy folklore angle of the story. It had potential but ended up falling flat on its face.

It was explained that the male lead had a mental illness that made him "sensitive to psychic/paranormal locations/events" or something like that. I must admit I was under the influence of a few glasses of Scotch when I watched this at a friend's house so my recollection of this movie isn't 100%.

I do remember the ending when he's being attacked by the flies and the area lights up and his ex enters causing the flies and the other girls to disappear. He runs down the stairs and hugs her and starts talking to her.

Then the producer guy comes in and asks him "Who are you talking to?" and you see him alone in the theater. Apparently she had been dead for several months and in a flashback to the beginning you see him talking not to his ex but a rose lying on a pillow.

So basically take Whoopi Goldberg's character from Ghost and make her nuts and you have the male lead from this movie. /shrug

I just filed this movie under the "watch once and forget about it" category. Sorry I couldn't be very helpful.

He's wearing a wedding ring so let's assume she was his wife and yes she died of cancer, he blocked it out and was seeing her ghost but didn't realise she was a ghost. The chick giving birth? Not a clue, I think they just threw that in there to have something icky based on the cauld thing. The girl spewing flies was the one that was murdered for being a devil child, she was turned into that evil spirit thing, the writing at the beginning said it's name, the flies and eyes seemed to be down to the fact she had one eye wide open when the villagers killed her and a fly went into the other one. The actress was the devil child's mum there somehow and that was not explained. The wife appeared to save him from the devil girl and the mum. The seed business was the devil guy who the mum/actress made a pact with so she could have the most powerful man to be her husband, the seed was so that devil girl could be reborn and be his wife like in the original bargain, he was cheated of her because she was murdered. I dunno if psychic/mentally ill guy ever really got on or was just having visions of what would happen to producer guy? Producer guy was pretty powerful so I assume after the director had a break down she decided producer would do just as well? If not she'd always planned on him and directer was just picking up on the evil spirits and their weirdness? I have no idea why the mum had one too since seed is provided by the man. But yes, they are going to have a devil baby, specifically the devil girl will be reborn so the creepy old devil guy can have a wife.
The film thing I think was hand waved as the emotional events that happened when the first film was being made imprinted on the film? Like the stone tape theory but with actual film. The old film was merging into the new film by itself... I think.

So yeah, there were explainations to some of it but as you can see it doesn't make it a better film.
