It's certainly possible, given the way the battle was set up.
The Nazis were outnumbered, had no cover and were caught by surprise.
The terrain and numerical advantage made it relatively easy to out flank them (although capturing the machine gun was a spot of luck)
We also don't know how experienced or skilled those Nazis were. For all we know, most of them might have been fresh out of boot camp, hasty replacementd for the thousands who died trying to take russia over the winter.
Or they might have been locally recruited half baked militiamen or mainly paramilitary policemen; anyway, there were LOTS of Soviet Partisans in the rear areas. A small unit could really find itself in deep trouble if it were not being careful.
