Remake of "Le Cri du hibou"(1987)

I wouldn't call this a remake, it's based on the same American book. I've seen both films and read the Highsmith's book. This Canadian/international production seems to take its cue from the source material more than it does the French film.

Both stray quite a bit, in different ways, from the novel.

... and that was the second time I got crabs.
