So contrived. 'Let's pretend that the judges weren't expecting this or that, like we've done a million times before, but now lets make it so weak and paper thin that we may as well be spitting in the viewer's face'.

And worse than ever is the never ending shots of chronically thick members of the audience overreacting to anything even vaguely amusing or surprising.

Add to that the soaring music and pathetic gasps and standing ovations every time some half-talented singer destroys another clichéd hackneyed song.

...then whoa, differences...

This format isn't merely tired...the format is dead! Each and every episode is by the numbers and there are no (talented) surprises anymore! It also seems to me that they show a lot more of the ridiculous acts and those to be ridiculed than the serious acts and those that we will see in the finals?

And (as with last year!)...ENOUGH of the singers! This isn't X Factor! 😡

And before anyone starts...I only watch because I'm a sucker for hope and still hope that one day this programme will improve! Plus...I have nothing better to do at the weekends... 😒

I hate those fake, inane comments from curiously miked up audience members and the lingering shots of the judges when they should be showing then acts. I hate the fact that we only see a brief glimpse of some acts while others are allowed two to three minutes but both get put through. Although when I say 'put through' all that means is that they might get a place on the semi-finals but this is decided in the ho-hum seventh episode of the series where the judges pretend to decide. But a lot of the acts chosen are only to make up the numbers alongside the acts Simon has already decided will go through to the final.

The only reason I continue watching is for David Walliams who makes me laugh but I have no interest in watching the final. I don't care who wins.

Definitely running out of steam.

The auditions are fun but the semi's bore the crap outta me.

They need to look at a new format... AND NO SINGERS unless they're seriously unique.
