Dear “Bad Meat” Crew:

As of 2:15 pm, we are still waiting for word on the status of “Bad Meat”

Capitol Films has indicated that they fully intend to make good on outstanding IATSE wages. We do not yet have a firm date when the wages will be paid.

As well, they are asking several Keys to put together budgets for wrapping and storing (including labour).

They have also indicated that this project may be going back into production right away.

The Union will be holding a crew meeting tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10:30 am at the Bad Meat production office – Art Department area.

At this meeting we will discuss:

1. the outstanding wages that were due last Friday, and will be due again this Friday;

2. payment for crew who continue to work;

3. the possibility of partial payment of wages from the Production Bond that the Union is holding - if the production continues to default on wages.

Hopefully by tomorrow morning, we will know exactly what direction this project is going. Please contact other crew members in your department as not everyone has email, and let them know about this meeting.

We encourage you to attend.

Thank you,
