Boy was that good . . .

My mom saw this when it came out and told me she enjoyed it. I thought it looked odd and the plot I read sounded dismal. I had to do some data entry work and saw it was on so I figured it would be good background noise.

Well I got almost nothing done. I was hooked right away. It is such a peculiar story, and very unique and possible. The acting is good, except a less good looking lead would have seemed more logical for his malaise.

The older daughter added a lot when she entered the story, and it was well acted all around. The editing is very tight and the music is oddly straddling the line between annoying and enjoyable the whole way.

It reminds me a lot of There Will Be Blood. I didn't know it would be so engrossing and I just couldn't stop watching because the story flowed so well. High recommendation, as who ever wrote this story is a talented story teller.
