Has anyone actually FINISHED the movie?!

I agree that this "thing" was the worst movie ever and usually bad movies are fun, but this one wasn't. I mean did they even have a script? When Zodiac called the news reporter, did he even have a script, or the director told him to say the word "fat *beep* all the time and babble a few other things. Did you guys make it all the way to where Zodiac asks "What is 2 plus 2?" on the phone to the news reporter? What a lame conversation was that wasn't it?! "San Francisco Police Department thinks it's 5. What do you think? I think it's 3" Oh yeah? I think you should shut up! :)

I think after the 2nd murder was where I left it. I was just wondering if there was ANYONE who finished it? What happens, does go with the same rhythm all the way to the end?

And what was the thing with smoking cigarettes all the time?

I could not finish it. I watched it for 44 minutes, but could not endure anymore of it. Stupid, poor acting, bad filming (was the cameraman drunk?)As I think of it, that 44 minutes was a waste of 44 minutes of my life.

I made it all the way through. I've made it through many of Lommel's films, even though they suck. I love bad movies, even Ed Wood movies (especially Ed Wood movies) but Lommel's, though they're not as bad as Wood's, they're more painful and less entertaining.

You can't argue with my logic! Well, you can, but I won't listen!

My sister, her boyfriend, and I tried to watch this movie and my sister insisted on turning it off after less than five minutes, not even kidding. She freaked out during the seizure-inducing opening credits and when it actually started she was very pissed about the shaky, bad camerawork. She said it was "very student-film". :P I wanted to at least watch a little more of it because I thought, hey maybe it will pick up, maybe it will actually be kindof interesting, maybe it will be funny in an unintentional way--I always try to look for positives, I guess--but after reading the comments on imdb I'm kindof glad we didn't keep watching.

reply

Nope. We turned it off shortly after the 2+2=5 nonsense.

Totally stupid totally stupid, totally stupid.

I too enjoy really really bad movies. This one does not qualify as a go bad movie. This was the biggest waste of time....nothing about it is worthwhile.

I got like ... maybe 3 minutes into it. Lameness.

"We are the weirdos, mister."

reply

I'm like.. 31 one minutes away from the ending... it's pretty boring. It's practically the same thing every murder, they repeat the murder and the phone calls.

reply

I agree! It was so horrible that there are no words to describe it. The heroine of the movie, i.e., the girl who foresees the murders, was so ugly and her dresses were horrible. I can't believe that someone like her can get the role of the main character in a movie. Regarding the cinematography, my homemade movies are better shot than this movie. Thankfully, I watched it on a DVD. After initial 10 minutes, I fast forwarded it to see if it gets better later. But it didn't. Didn't feel any place where I should stop forwarding for a minute and see it. I'd give it 0 out of 10.

I've seen a lot of crap horror with bad acting and so on,but I guess this one is the crappiest ever, couldn't watch more than a half, altough you realise how *beep* it is since the first frames.

reply

Yes but it was hard. I'm one of those people who will always finish watching something I started but this one was painful, the closest I ever came to doing so. I rated this movie a 1, this is only one I've ever rated that low. Even movies I really didn't enjoy much I'll give at least a 5 or 6(failing grade is below 6.5)but this I just couldn't. The repetition of Phat F*#% was a bit funny just cause it was so overdone but terrible terrible movie, ouch!

I always finish movies, too, but I just couldn't do it this time. I actually watched Lomelli's movie The Raven all the way to the end! It was absolutely deplorable, but I insisted it HAD to get better. This time, within the first 2 minutes, I recognized the style and looked it up to see if it was Lomelli. When I saw it was, I couldn't get to the stop button fast enough. I would rather have had someone shove a wire clothes hanger under my fingernail than spend another 5 minutes on this movie! We should use his movies to extract intelligence from terrorist groups! lol! Might be considered inhumane, though.

Anyway, I'm just happy that the guy at the video store bent their policy so that I could exchange it for a real movie. As soon as I told him it was a Lomelli, he apologized and "worked it out". Still haven't figured out why they have 2 copies of Zodiak and Raven. They're not worth the cases they're stored in!

My brother and I watched it all the way through, that's right! don't mess.

Actually the reason we carried on watching it was out of fear that it was like the video from "Ring" and if we didn't finish it we would have some sort of curse (like in the title). That's right, we put 2 and 2 together and got 5.

I have spoken, so it is law!!!

reply

Wow! Even the people who fast forwarded didn't seem to make it all the way to the end :)
I'm counting heads, it's 3 people so far! :))

Well it was rough going there for a while, we even kept rewinding bits so it lasted longer. Anyone who missed the two scenes with Pretty girl & Fat Fxck acting together missed out a real treat though.

I ordered "Zodiac Killer" & "Zombie Nation" through the post before I saw this and now they have turned up I am scared. I know I'll watch them, I'm that kind of person............. if you don't here from me again then I've been committed.

It was "entertaining". The fat writer was a moron but the psychic was a good actress. I wonder why Lommel focused on all the couples always arguing.

reply

I'm just amazed he managed to focus on anything, the camera seemed to struggle.

A lot of that shakey crap was created in post production.
