Tyson=Elvis=Macbeth

After seeing the documentary TYSON what really struck me was the tragic similarities between these three. Despite being the best at what they did their own inner weaknesses and "human frailties" are what did them in. Both Tyson and Elvis had deep emotional issues that were never addressed and dealt with. This of course led to them surrounding themselves with leeches and "yes" men who were more than happy to ride the gravy train until it ran off the rails.

They were also weak minded (or willed) enough to let themselves be guided by treacherous people with nothing but their own self-interests in mind. Don King. Col. Tom Parker. Lady Macbeth.

Just think what might have happened if Elvis had fired the Col., stopped making crap movies, and either got into more serious roles (A Star is Born) and toured around the world. After Cus Damato's death if Tyson could have found another manager/trainer who didn't cheat him and kept him on track out of the ring he could have ended his career on a positive note and had some peace in his personal life.

As for Macbeth...he was screwed from the opening line.
