the military guys kinda go overboard SPOILERS

The scene where they enter Dennis's house is enough to get them put in prison. I know the movie explained it by saying they were coked up. but stilll......they never showed any punishement come down on these guys. I was hoping the entire movie that they would be arrested eventually. But you never see them again after the towel fight scene. And why punish Dennis for defending his life in his own home? his parents are weird. or he's weird if he didn't tell them the whole story. liked the movie, but some elements of the plot bugged me

That one asswipe should have been arrested when he assaulted Coovermin on school property. I mean, come on, an ADULT in a UNIFORM assaults a minor child? What was Dr Gleason thinking?

That's the real case in many high schools. Smart guy is beaten up by jocks and still not complain to appear cool around peers. So here; I think in spite of the constant torture, Dennis who has longed to be a cool guy at least once in his whole life was trying to play cool there. Plus, his dad also seems to be a guy who would like a cool son and wouldn't like the idea of him not being able to stand up to bullies and complain. So Dennis was trying to cover things up. No complaints, no arrests.
