What will happen with Dennis and Beth after they parted ways?

Since the movie didn't have a definite ending, what do you think will happen? I think personalities don't change that fast, so Dennis won't change much and will ask Beth out only hesitantly again. She accepts just to be nice to him again and that she likes to be loved, but after one date they will both see they are very different and it won't work, so part ways forever.
