What Was Archy Going to Do?.....

When he rounded up One-Two, Mumbles & Bob towards the end & then when he was bringing them to Lenny? That also goes for Johnny, was he going to hurt all of them & let them be killed? Even Johnny? Weren't they his crew or fellow confederates?

I'm not sure what Lenny was going to do with them as angry as he was when he found out that they were the one's that kept stealing the Russians money. He threatened to have them killed but I don't think he was going to kill them.

What about Johnny? I'm confused, I'm wondering whether Archy ever really liked Johnny or not. Was the scene in the elevator real or staged? Johnny got on Archy's last nerve where he threatened to kill him.

When Johnny is finally reunited with Lenny, afterwards all Lenny does is send John away when he learns he doesn't have his painting anymore. It's only when Johnny tries to blow Lenny's cover & extra curricular activities that Len shoots him with the intent to kill.

But at the end of the movie Archy is shown welcoming Johnny home with open arms. Why? Why bother even helping him after he was shot & then sending him to rehab & then bringing him back if this is a guy you couldn't stand or would've killed? As a matter of fact, he should've been more angry at Johnny as he might have known all along that his stepdad was the traitor among them & didn't say anything.

That didn't make sense as I thought there was no love lost between the two. The way it panned out, it seemed Arch treated John as the new head/boss, but why wouldn't "he" be the new boss? Just one of the many curious things about this flick that make you scratch your head.
