I just read the latest 'User Comment' review on the page for Ace of Hearts.

I was angry at the end because the reviewer states 'Even Richard Karn and Kirk Cameron can do better than this. Dean should be ashamed of himself'.

I happen to like Richard Karn and Kirk Cameron alot, along with Dean Cain - who is probably in my top 5 favorite actors.

I'll be honest and say I haven't seen this movie, but when you talk about the movie stretching reality - that's the whole point of most movies right? Things that can't happen in real life put on screen! Anyway, I'm sure Dean Cain did a fine job in this film as he always does in every film/tv show he's been in.

Yes, but this film is supposed to be based upon actual events. Yet, it has scenes in it that no dog, or person for that matter, could get away with doing. Like when Ace leaps through a glass window, or when Julia enters Torco's house. If Ace were to burst through solid glass it'd get cut up, even before it'd have a chance to get stabbed. And if Julia, the policeman's daughter, were to do what she did, she'd be arrested for breaking and entering, plus criminal trespass. This is one of the most unbelieveable, yet incredible movies I've ever seen. I wonder how much of it is actually true however. I think it's sort of like a cross between "Homeward Bound", and "Nancy Drew".
