"Election Year" Irrelevant

Since Jason Blum and company needed more money, everything about "The Purge: Election Year," where people finally stood up to the insanity of The Purge ends up meaning nothing.

Now, it's like none of that happened, and we're back to the usual purging. It's a lot like "Friday the 13th: The "Final" Chapter, which was instantly negated when they resurrected Jason.

I am glad I've never spent any money to see any of these in the theater, at least. Plus, the first two are the only really good ones, the second being best.

I think it canonically still happened, just that when what is her name left office, the next president just reinstated it.

Yes, that was the idea. The new founding fuckers or Amurica got reelected, because there will always be enough haters to vote for hate supporters.

Good, Election year was a horrible movie.
Bad, this one is even worse one.
