Emma Stone's guitar

I loved the guitar that Emma Stone's character used. It was so beautiful with the trees on it.

Does anyone know where I can get one like that?

Wow, you're the idiot. You do realize that a bass guitar is still a guitar right? Just a different type. Stop acting like an ignorant 14 year old.

It might be a custom design, it was very nice

Looked like a Fender Mustang bass, it's a little smaller than the full P bass.

yeah...it's also got different pickups, a more slanted body style and a chrome input jack pate.....I'm sure the design on the guitar was just some stickers or a custom paint job.

Looks like a black Fender Mustang bass with a custom paint job. Nice instruments if you can get a good one. The cheapo Squier versions can be quite good starter/backup units if you have them set up right. I almost bought one myself.

These kinds of basses are popular with people with smaller hands (including girls) because they are what is known as SHORT SCALE, which means the distance between the frets is less than on full scale models, making them much easier to play. Sometimes they also have a perceived "twangier" attack too, making them cut through the mix more, at the expense of some low-end response. In the world of Fender guitars, the scale difference between Mustang and Precision basses parallels the scale difference between Stratocasters/Telecasters and Jaguars.

I used to be a big guitar geek so I know all this stuff.
