I can't see this being advertised on TV

I really hope this is an independent film. I don't want 8 year olds watching TV and the preview for "pornstar" showing up. Can you see a kid asking what "pornstar" is? Extremely inappropriate, what is this world coming to?

If your child is watching a show or a station at an hour that something like this would be advertised, then you are a bad parent. If your child ask what is the movie about and you cant give them a answer, you are a bad parent. Learn how to use the v chip to censor your childs tv viewing habits or change the *beep* channel. Dont take away from the masses because you cant do these things to protect your child. Its not like they are going to advertise this film during SpongeBob.

Amen!

I agree, but then also if your child is watching Spongebob you are a bad parent.

reply

HAHAHA
Ain't that the truth!

reply

if your child is in college an watches spongebob, your child is a bad college student. Trust me on that one.

reply

I watched Spongebob all throughout college and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and had a 3.6 gpa. Don't knock the Sponge. And Beta... right on brother, OP is a moron.

reply

Yeah I suppose its not a universal thing. And probably not even really connected, just a coincidence, but I was referring to myself. I watch Spongebob, and I'm a really bad college student. I'll be graduating with a 3.6 gpa in my dreams.

Lawyered!

"C'mon...you're better than that!"

I wasn't in the US last year so I'm honestly asking this: was Young People *beep* previewed on television?

There are a LOT of films (esp. independents) that aren't advertised on American tv, or they aren't advertised until they win something, (Slumdog, Reader, Rachel-- ring any bells! Those films were out AGES ago!) And to be honest, it really sucks!

They show advertisements for gory, frightening, or incredibly stupid movies; why shouldn't they be able to show trailers for these movies too?

If you don't want you children to see these trailers, channel lock your tv to children's programming only, get rid of cable, and don't take them to movies that show these kinds of trailers beforehand. It's the same way w/ any tv show a/o movie-- if you don't like it, don't watch it!

OT: Spongebob can get really annoying really quick; one 20 minute show is more than enough for... a WEEK!

Indeed he has no improper pride. He is perfectly amiable. - P&P

^ Except for the fact that on some stations, when the trailer was advertised, the voice over would just say "Zach and Miri". My opinion on this was because parents got upset at the word "Porno".

I love my homeland America... How sex is taboo, and violence is second nature.

reply

I agree.

Don't you love the stupidity?

Its ok to see someone slice open another person with bloody guts hanging all over the place while he screams in pain beyond anyone can really bare, but its not ok to see sex or anything close as a woman's bare breasts... what has this world come to.

reply

It's all Greek to me! America would be so much BETTER OFF if they got rid of their puritan prudeness!
