Boogie Nights?

Is it just me, or does this sound like Boogie Nights, only with a female lead?
He gets seduced by women, she gets seduced by women. His life spirals out of control, her life spirals out of control.

Boogie Nights is an exploration of what happened to the porn industry between the 1970s and 1980s, when film switched to video, and weed switched to coke... It's also directed by one of the best working directors in the business.

This movie will have a really tough run because people will insist on making the comparison, even if it's only similarity is the world it takes place in.

Come on, it's about the porn industry. That's the only connection you have between this and boogie nights.

Those connections are pretty broad.

It's kind of like an untouched genre. Which might only have Hardcore and Boogie Night, and now this.
