her sister and her husband

in the movie her husband and her sister were always so close to each other and even massaged together on the bed...
i think there's something between them but the movie doesn't make it clear...

were they having an affair or they're about to start one?

Her husband was an ass throughout the movie and I am pretty positive he was having an affair with Nicole. A married man doesn't give another woman a massage behind closed doors on a normal basis. Plus, when Jaime confronted him about Nicole in the kitchen, right before she cut her finger, he went right out and talked to Nicole, which was weird because it seems like he would stay away from Nicole knowing his wife was catching on. I think that he didn't care if he was noticeably eyeing/seeing her sister. He wasn't a very good husband to Jaime, knowing she was having a tough time.

I agree. He was an absolute ass. He was not very sensitive or assuring. In general, the character development in this movie is B-A-D. It was hard to care about any of the characters, really. I wish Lifetime would be more selective about what the air.

I agree, this was terribly directed. Jamie's imaginings and reality were too intermixed. And the mumbled lines of Victoria Pratt left a lot to be guessed at. So in the end, we are supposed to believe Jamie drowned? what?

The sister was the one who brought the wife to the psychic, too.
