As much as this movie blew, that little epilogue with Haim really...

wetted my appetite for a third.

I'm just interested, what happened to Sam? How did he become a vampire? Plus the thought of the two friends that are now enemies seems very fertile ground for doing something meaningful, not trite and aweful like this movie was.

And for god's sake, film the third in Panavision, the way the first film was shot is very much a part of it's classic status...it LOOKED like a theatrical movie, not a cheap made-for-video drone.

If you expect the unexpected doesn't the unexpected then become the expected?
