Bad...direction???

I can't exactly figure out what went wrong with this movie, but something obviously did.
As I put on Facebook : "Lost Boys 2 equals bad, unflowy stuff with odd voices, random smex, and crappy scene changes."
It just didn't seem to flow properly, and it was hard to understand.
One second his sisters a vampire, then she isn't, then all of a sudden she's gone and he's having sex with someone, and they kept leaving her (the half-vamp sister) ALONE????
I thought the first Lost Boys was actually kind of interesting and cute, the sequel seems like a different breed of movie (like, Twilight or Lestat on drugs)
