Good, fun movie

I really enjoyed this. Mel Gibson was great as Santa and Walton Goggins did a good job as the hitman. The film was entertaining and a lot of fun. There was some laughs and enough action and suspense to keep me engaged. Definitely worth checking out. My rating is an 8/10.

Thanks, it is on my "to watch queue". Goggins and Gibson are decent actors in everything else that I have watched.

Yeah, all in all an entertaining flick. Wasn't what I was expecting.

SPOILER:

It was entertaining but it seemed as if it was two films in one. The first half pre-hitman finding where Santa lived was fairly bloodless almost to the point that the only reason it would have an R rating was the language... but in the last half the bloody violence alone would have gotten it an R rating. Not saying either way was better than the other, I would have simply enjoyed it more if it was all out bloody violent from the start or remained the bloodless deaths happening off camera that it was at the beginning. I mean the violence in the last half of the movie really didn't even make a lot of sense. Prior to the shift in gears the hitman was seeming to be rather quite in how he took out the targets, but all of a sudden he is taking on a fortress with armed military personnel? It just didn't make sense.
