on dvd?
UK, US - can't seem to find any release info for the dvd. Anyone know anything?

According to the website it will be released in July 2010-but it's not saying whether that is UK only or if it will be distributed in the US as well..

My copy arrived from amazon.co.uk two days ago (7/28/10). A word of caution: I have two region-free players (ahem ahem), and the cheap one, a SuperSonic SC21, played the DVD OK but cut off the picture on both sides as if it were adapting it for a standard TV screen--and did it no matter what output choices I made, PAL/NTSC, widescreen/standard, etc. My other player, an older LG DR-787T, played the DVD just fine with the 16:9 picture looking very clear and sharp.
We've been waiting to see this film since spring 2009, when it seemed we were always arriving in or leaving English towns just a day off from when they were doing a one-time screening. It was worth the wait.

Cheers so much, Lenny! I, too, have NEVER regretted the decision to buy a region-free recorder. Interesting, though, that the film behaved differently on different players.
I've been panting after it ever since I heard about it. Glad it's finally out.
