awards, terrific reviews and dvd out 5th July!

I've tracked down the awards for this (not very difficult they're on http://beyondthepole.com/) Best film and/or comedy several times in UK and US and terrific reviews from Empire, The Times, Future Film, Variety, Eye For Film etcetc.

This film has done terrifically well and I wish it and the filmmakers all the very best. A UK indie fighting Hollywood on its on turf. Great! Weirdly, I see the film is launching the same day as Friends relaunch their own reversioned series in the UK on dvd/bluray. How funny is that for the film's exec prod Helen Baxendale (the one who married Ross ... almost!)
