well i saw the last episode today...And i must say, this show can't die! u can easily write season 2 with so many loose end
*spoiler* the fact is Tom is still single and Henry still lives there. Rod can move back anytime and the fact is, he never said Goodbye Forever once in the whole episode...So a new season can easily be made =D

And one thing that I'm sure will open a can of worms is why did Lauren call Rod by the name Dennis? Is this the same Dennis that was Lucy's live-in ex-boyfriend?

I was thinking the same thing and that is a major loose end. I Hope they have another season, the finale was good but that Dennis comment kind of threw it off and it seemed kind of pointless if they are not going to have another season.
sharemmm that dennis comment. well i thought about it and i can only think of three reasons
1. The baby is not Rod's, but Dennis'
2. This has happened to lauren before where Dennis made Lauren pregnant
3. The producers made a reference to Dennis just to annoy us
