of ***spoilers*** and 'Tortured'

Okay, I've read a lot of the threads on this movie and even thought it's currently rated a 5.8 (will be rated higher when they factor in my 8, I was generous, was gonna rate it a 7, until I saw all this negative carp, lol), nearly all the threads seem to thrash/trash the movie:

Horribly Swiss cheese plot holes (to me, nothing worse than Danish Havarti)
Illogical, blah-blah, I hated it!

Okay, people.

(((if the subject wasn't clear, here be spoilers)))

Y'alls LIKED the plot twist in The Usual Suspects, right? Brilliant, wonderful, etc. To me, until the ingenious plot twist, it was all Kevin Spacey's Verbal Kint blathering a bunch of nonsensical sh*t, LOL. And then when released, that trademark limp starts to "go away". ;-)

Y'alls LIKED the plot twist in Saw I, right? Brilliant, shocking, knock your socks off, right? I mean who would've thought the killer/mastermind was LYING ON THE FLOOR RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU during the entire movie???

Yet how come when a twist like the prisoner/toturee, RIGHT in front of us, when he digs out his handcuff key from his watch, why did ya HATE that twist?

I thought that twist ALSO was pretty GD cool. I mean his demeanor changed as much as Keyser Soze AND he was RIGHT in front of us like Jigsaw/John.

So where's the love for another brilliant twist? You people, lol. Sometimes I scratch my head... ;-)

Dude, you're right. The Usual Suspects had a great plot twist, and we all love plot twists, this really was a great film. I was just ungrateful when I watched
it and thought, oh, this might be a bit illogical to fly to the FBI Washington in the middle of a undercover operation. But you're right, you convinced me.
And to be honest, I didn't see the end coming. Totally surprised me, didn't see that one coming. The bad guy ordered the cop to torture himself just to get to the head of the FBI hm mm... that's like replying to a post you think is totally oblivious, just to

MAKE

YOUR

POINT.

Ha! There you got it. I bet you didn't see that coming either! This reply made about as much sense as the film ;)

What plot twist? If a person has his finger and toe-nails pulled out they will never grow back properly. The torture had been going on for days, and yet there was the tortured man, standing straight, not limping, no pain, telling us (the viewers and the idiot hero) that he had allowed himself to be tortured so that he could get to the stage where he could kill him.
Movie makers do not seem to realise how easy it is to damage or even kill someone. There is no way that a man could be tortured that much and smile at the end of the film (except when he saw how much he had been paid for a poor performance in a very poor film).
And as for the very end, with the phone call, what was that about? A set up for Tortured 2?
This film was just an excuse for over-the-top viciousness.
Some films go direct to DVD.
Many more, including this one, should go direct to Rubbish Bin.

I gotta agree with the previous poster. The Ziggy character had just been tortured for days and then suddenly he's just standing there like nothing had happened.

Also the film builds itself in a way that you start suspecting a twist ending. They promoted the Ziggy character and his mysterious identity in a way that you knew it was going to be someone surprising and unexpected.

This is an okay film, but nothing special. And definitely not anything like The Usual Suspects which really took me by surprise.

-Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?-
