Questions about the end - SPOILERS

OK, the movie was really horrible. A waste of Cole Hauser's talent.

Most of the movie was predictable. Cole would start to get personally involved with his target. His wife would leave him and his father was involved more than he told him. Here are my unanswered questions:

1. What was in the hole under where Ziggy was hanging they found after Cole and his father take off with Ziggy in the end?

2. If Ziggy had gone through multiple plastic surguries over the years why did Cole's father immediately recognize him during the bust?

3. Who called Cole saying he was now in charge if Ziggy was planning on killing him? Was Fishburne really Ziggy?

4. Where was the real Mr Green? in the hole they found at the end?

5. If he actually let himself be tortured, why was Fishburne in such good condition after all those days?

The whole thing was confusing, predictable in parts and a total waste of time. But these questions are bugging the hell outta me.

A: As said before the key in his watch was his escape, the hole was a water-way where 1 - the blood would drip, 2 - the body of the real Green was hidden, 3 - Ziggy could be free to take care of himself / escape / etc in a sense.

2. If Ziggy had gone through multiple plastic surguries over the years why did Cole's father immediately recognize him during the bust?

A: He did NOT recognize him, he took him to the place because his own image was being protected, he was Mickey - and the whole plot twist and discrepency of the council may look down upon the kidnapping of 'Mr. Green' - or, what the movie tries to pull off in a sense.

3. Who called Cole saying he was now in charge if Ziggy was planning on killing him? Was Fishburne really Ziggy?

A: Though, it may be a twisty-end, that just may have been the point. Ziggy may have left this behind (knowing Cole was supposed to kill him, and if successful...) He would be the new 'boss', not knowing it. So yes, the altered Fishburne WAS really ziggy, but the movie left off as a cliff-hanger again leaving us in more suspense.

4. Where was the real Mr Green? in the hole they found at the end? ]

A: Yep, if you seen the body it was laurence fishburne as well.

5. If he actually let himself be tortured, why was Fishburne in such good condition after all those days?
A: Good Question. lol

The whole thing was confusing, predictable in parts and a total waste of time. But these questions are bugging the hell outta me.

Movies can APPEAR to be predictable, but also leave you with questions that you may have not been open-minded enough to pick up. I'd put this movie along-side 'Fracture' in a suspense-like story with a nice twist in the end for best Suspense of 08'.'

5. as for Ziggy being in good health, i think its pretty obvious that the guy was unchaining himself and going down that hole in the ground where he was probably eating and whatever. He just had no finger nails, haha.

Re Ziggy being in good health at the end, my theory is that Ziggy remained in hiding to orchestrate the sting while it was the actual accountant who was being tortured until the very end. After Ziggy sent the gun and issued the kill directive, Ziggy killed and hid the accountant's body and took his place in the vault. He would have been in excellent health, and that also helps explain the watch Ziggy wore in the end scenes.

I agree with all the plot hole posts, but I did indeed like the movie enough to watch it twice.
