one of the best short films i have ever seen.

in such a little time there was such a vast mix of emotions. the arguement, the attempt to resolve, the frustration of miscommunication, shock horror and dark humour.

i loved it.

saw it last night at the barbican in london - have to agree, excellent short film, it made me say "*beep*!!!" plus many of the audience at one bit, and laugh uncontrollably at another

You got to love it when you laugh out loud at something while knowing you probably shouldn't. Loved it. One of the best shorts I've seen at our festival this year.

It's well made but relies on characters doing the stupidest possible thing for plot points to occur...which is bad writing in a short, just like a feature. People who are impressed by this don't exhibit much brainpower.

"People who are impressed by this don't exhibit much brainpower"

People who say such things say not much about others but more about themselves than they realize

While I won't assume those impressed by the film lack brainpower, I will say that I agree with you regarding the plot. Though the cinematography and special effects were excellent, the story was lacking. I was left thinking "uh, okay". I think the short appeals to some people the way classic slapstick used to (Three Stooges, Charlie Chaplin, etc.). That's all I can figure.
