This movie production went bust
I hear this production went broke while still shooting exteriors in New Mexico and left without paying the crew or the extras.

Who is so 'credible' that they can say the movie went 'bust'????? Im interested to know!
Hey guys,
Check out wireimage.com and check out the cast party for LND at the AFM. Looks like the mystery is solved and the film is fine. Also hope you caught the Variety article I posted.
Yay!
My brother and I were extras. The production has did wrap, but we were not paid. And every other extra I have spoken to has not been paid either. My family also told me that the news reported that the production had not yet paid any of the actors either. This was a while ago now, but that's what was reported.
My wife and I also worked on this movie in two different scenes. We usually get paid in a week or two, but when nothing happened in almost a month, I called the casting director. She admitted there were payroll problems and apologized. I then called the NM Film Commission and filed a complaint. They told me they were withholding certification for the movie until the problem was resolved. About two months later, we received two checks for payment in full. I've had other payroll issues over 15 years, but I have never been stiffed. Sometimes you just have to work at it.
shareTHAT IS TRUE
i still haven't been paid
this was a poorly organized production
...personally, i hope the thing never sees the silver screen
I was an extra and finally got paid, although a couple of months after we should have. I heard that a major investor backed out and some guy, big in movies in Albuquerque, saved the day and found the money to pay extras.
