Richard Gere's Big Scene (Spoiler)

Was that supposed to be a massive heart attack, or a stroke? Good acting, either way. So unexpected.

I had never seen this movie until today, only because Richard mentioned it during his interview with Michael Kay on "Centerstage" earlier this year, that someone had come up to him and said they had never cried so hard for a film. That was a good enough recommendation for me!

I was a bit upset though, that the daughter and her family basically just let the dog go, to live for years in those rotten conditions. So sad. It was interesting that a scene was shown with Hachi and the baby (when the baby was in his walker) and there was just no bonding or any type of transferred affection from the dog to child. Hachi was completely indifferent to the baby. He only cared about Parker, really no one else. Interesting scene.
