Why this deserves to be in the top #250

Many of the films on the top #250 IMDB list purely for entertainment purposes only.
This film is different it didn't entertain me in a way films are meant but emotionally I couldn't stop watching it was so engaging so heartfelt.
To feel is the power of cinema it's a vital part of what makes film so important. It has the power to move us, Change us and define us.
It's a film that you may not have enjoyed, you may dislike the characters motivations, their actions, their depictions and maybe even the message the film is to trying to convey but you can't honestly say this film didn't affect you either in a good way or bad way.
It deserves it place in the top #250 for the emotional response alone.

People trend young on IMDb, I think, and it's not cool to praise a film based on its appeal to the emotions, unless you are very young or very old. People seem to think they're being manipulated.
It's unfortunate, I think, but that's the way it is. I love this film but find it too sad to watch often.
