I mean c'mon. Finish your damn movie. I hate these open to interpretation nonsense. The universe in which the movie ends ends when the movie ends.

So nothing the audience speculates is meaningful. It is not what the director or writer intended. This is why movies like Inception and this annoy me to no end.

It's your damn movie. End it. We can take whatever ending you give. Just finish it.

Really hated it because of this.

Agreed. For a movie like Inception at least an end like that fits and feels more earned than in a film like Swing Vote. It felt like they didn't know how to end it, so surprise, guess for yourself. It was too long as well; could have been tighter with a run time of 1:30-1:45
