Killler film! Totally good times

This is a must-see for anyone who enjoyed Shaun of the Dead or who really just has a pulse. Go see it!!

reply

Actually those without a pulse will find Wasting Away a hell of a lot of fun, too! *

It is always fun to see a genre that has been done to death (pardon the pun) get a truly fresh look. This film had everything one could love in a Zombie movie plus a few new twists that made me laugh out loud.

* I refer to the living dead who can finally see themselves portrayed as the heroes they are.

Yeah, a hilariously unique take on the genre.

All these people on here that say it is unique is either a part of the production crew or related to someone on the crew. The movie is far from unique!. This movie at the moment is sitting at 6.7/10 that is complete horse sh!t so it is. This is just another piece of evidence that the IMDb polling system is buggered.

Well, I think it's fairly unique and I have nothing to do with the film. There probably are other films to do a similar thing but not many and I've not seen any of them.

I ordered this from Netflix and watched it last night. I had a great time. The cast is great, the script is fun and it is very well directed. I was surprised at how how much fun I had watching it. It's definitely worth watching. It's probably one of the funniest things I've seen this year.

I just bought this at Amazon for $5 and i thought it was great.
Just out of curiosity..what are the other films that play from a zombie point of view i have been watching Horror for a very long time and this is the 1st to pop up on my Radar...
Not counting all those endless $50 movies that seem to pop up on Cable on a weekly basis of course, but you know a movie with a circulation of more than 10 which others have heard of.. thanks in advance.

Back to Wasting Away i thought it had some clever idea's and the characters were far better than i expected,it did remind me of some of the old cheesy 80's flicks but i think that was the point.
Apart from Budd in both Living Dead films they Are for all their faults the only zombies that you've wanted to like and care for..
You engaged and ran with their story and enjoyed it which is always good.
Yes it was silly, funny but thats what it was all about and i liked the film..

I thoroughly enjoyed this refreshingly unique and witty take on the zombie horror genre.
