The ending lacked something....

Anyone else think the ending lacked something? Like it felt tacked on or it was supposed to be a set-up for another movie. Either way fun movie.

I don't exactly understand what happened in the end. The army guys zombie friends all attacked the soldiers then it cuts away and the zombie people are living in a zombie town and the soldier is with the colonel and the scientist in the lab.

It seems like they would have either saved the army guy, or all died trying. Seems like they had two endings and showed both of them.

The ending confused me as well. My husband says that they sort of ambushed the soldiers and ran away to the "promised land." But I would think they'd be shot down quickly. I don't know, the ending was weird to me, too.

Your sig is awesome.

I thought since the military (or at least the colonel and the doctor) knew zombies were still human from talking to the private, they decided-very secretively-to just set them up somewhere instead of kill them.

The one thing I did think was going to happen that didn't end up quite that way was I thought the colonel saved the private so he could promote him. I must have completely misinterpreted the look he gave him when the soldiers were about to shoot him through the head. I thought the colonel knew he'd sacrificed himself for the others and therefore deserved that promotion finally-and was going to kill him afterwards.

I think, instead, the colonel just recognized the zombie as the private.
