The Kiss/Insult

I preferred the genuine kisses between the two leads here. Definitely some passionate chemistry going on there. I found the kiss Julian Sands gave in the 1985 version was too forced and harsh (it almost looked like Helena Bonham-Carter didn't enjoy it). What do you think?

btw, I liked everything about this version, except for how it ended.

I think that Lucy wasn't really supposed to enjoy the first kiss - but I still kind of agree with you. The second kiss in the MI version was really ambiguous, it was difficult to tell if she was attracted to him at all. (I watched it with a friend who didn't know the plot, and she was really confused.) You could see the emotions more clearly in the new version.
