Does anyone the piece that Lucy plays after having a frustrating talk with Mr. Emerson? (near the beginning)

Well, it is Beethoven, as you say - I get a bit mixed up at times, but I think it may be the third movement of the 'Moonlight'. YOu know, the first movement is always a bit slow, the second a bit more lively and it all kicks off in the third. It's a lot of fun, I find.

In which version - the (great) original film in 1985 or the weak, misguided, remake in 2007? Both Beethoven, different sonatas....

1985 - Beethoven Piano Sonata no.21 in C major, Op.53
Music begins ⅔ of the way through the second movement, Introduzione, and continues through the first few bars of the third movement, Rondo.

2007 - Beethoven Piano Sonata no 14 in C# minor (Moonlight) - 3rd movement.
