It did, but for pete's sake you nominate a movie that's just 4 months old. It hadn't even been released on dvd yet.

The list only included movies made in 2005 and earlier. The Departed will be eligible next time.

As for Once Upon a Time in America, it'd probably make the list the way AFI votes, except it's an Italian (Leone) film. Only American films are eligible to make the American Film Institute's lists.
