Which films do you think will be on the list that don't deserve to be?

I'll agree with Tootsie and Easy Rider, though I love Tootsie. I also hope Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is removed, as that was WAY overrated the first time. It was #98 or 99 though, so I'm sure it will be. There were a bunch of others I took off when I made my list based on the nominees, but I won't suggest they're bad.

Here's one that'll make it that I really don't think should: Titanic. Titanic is a good film made in a year with not that great a list of movies, so it took a lot of awards, and box office shouldn't be considered for a great movie, though I think they'll take it into account.

I think it was William Friedkin who compared "Titanic" to "Casablanca" as a great love story. That just blew my mind. No comparison, in my opinion. It was the love story aspect that kept me from taking "Titanic" seriously, though I did enjoy watching the ship sink towards the end. But it had no place on a Top 100 list, not by any criteria.

Yeah but he has a point. I mean that movie made $1,845,034,188 world wide. People were definitely drawn back to this film again and again for the romantic aspects. There were plenty of action extravaganzas out at the time, so it certainly wasn't that.
