Where in the world was Aishwarya Rai in the 'Deewangi Deewangi' song?!

This has really been bothering me personally. Why was Aishwarya Rai not in the Deewangi Deewangi song? I mean, practically every other star appeared in the song but not Aishwarya Rai, who is the most famous and well-known on an international level actress? It didn't make sense, I thought it was a huge disappointment that she didn't appear in the song or make any sort of cameo in the film. I'm bewildered at how they could not include such a huge star as her in the film or if she herself did not choose to appear in the song then why in the world not? What's wrong with her? Does anyone know the reason for her absence. Myabe this is not such a big deal, the "Deewangi Deewangi" was absolutely out of this world beyond awesome and this was an incredible film that deserves all the success if not more that it has received but I would have just loved it had Aishwarya also made an appearance in the film at some point too, it just wasn't the same.

I'm assuming that the reason for Ash's non-appearance in the film or song is the supposed rift between the Bachan's and Shahrukh. But this still doesn't make sense because Abhi and Amitabh both appear in the film, albeit briefly.

Point to note though, is that Abhi's stint in the film with regards to his role & the things he says does seem to make a satirical comment on that rift.

One can only speculate I guess !

abhisheik Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan weren't in the song either... probably had to do with. Not sure why they weren't in the song though since they were still in the movie in general! WTF!

They were busy preparing for the wedding - so they just did cameos. Big B took a jab at the reports of a rift between him and SRK - 'OK - who OK?', and Abhi gamely made fun of himself.

Yeah that's what I mean, even if she wasn't in the song, a lot of stars made appearances throughout the film itself like even Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. It was just odd a bit.

What's wrong with her?

Why should there be anything wrong with her? Did you ever consider that just like Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao and many others, she maybe could not make it due to other commitments? Maybe she was busy shooting Jodhaa Akbar? And even if she deliberately chose to not do the song, why should there be anything wrong with her? She has the right to do whatever she wants.

I meant in the sense that she is one of the biggest and most well-known Indian stars so it was a bit odd that she wasn't present, I found it strange for her not to be there in it. Of course I considered that Sushmita Sen and Amrita Rao and some others weren't in the song either but Aishwarya is probably the best known Indian actress on an international level so it was silly of her not to be there. It's true.

lol of course I thought of that instantly but if THAT is the reason why she didn't show up I would consider that rather immature and showing how she refuses to ever let it go. I doubt they would have made them dance beside one another or hug anyways so if that was the reason it's a bit silly but oh well.

she was getting married, thats the reason neither her, abhisekh or amitabh coudl shot for this song. aamir khan was gonna be there too but he had work to do for his movie tare zameen par.

I mean this in an inquisitive way and not derogatory or anything, why are you so hyper about this? Maybe she's a really big star, but isn't it possible that she was busy or had other commitments! or wasn't working while her marriage was going on! or because she had that spat with both Sallu and SRK?
Or maybe ( in my dream land) had a concussion and curled up and died? Because not everyone would miss her and her fake plastic smile. (Note: I said not everyone..which means those who like her CAN miss her!)
And I don't think she would fit in the fun song 'Deewangi" where everyone seems to be letting their hair down and having fun. Maybe she would find it 'downmarket'! LOL

and the list can go on...

As for Ash..remeber Salman Khan was in the film as well.. she vowed not to be in a film with him...

But anyway.. LOVE THIS FILM!

Glad she wernt in this movie..i think ash is a sell-out in all honesty!

but stil, it was a wicked song, Karishma looked soo gawjus, i hope shes back on the screen soon!

it wuda bin so cool to see Shahrukh, Saif, Salman and Aamir together with Sanjay, i mean they are the big Bolloywood stars! (and all Khan i might add)

plus it wuda bin nice to see Amrita Rao, she is soo fcukin hot!

the cool thing is that in about 10 years this song is gonna be so nostalgic, im glad they made it, it was perfect!
