Satiric? Dark humor?

There's only two syllables in this whole wide world worth hearing: pussy!

I have read several reviews by critics...

They say this movie has very deep black humour and it is sometimes satiric?

Can anyone explain?

I mean what was satiric and had black humour in this movie?

reply

Well it's certainly being satirical, several times, in relation to Hollywood movies. There was also dark humour associated with the crime scenes like when Frank keeps having a go at people for making spelling mistakes in their suicide notes, and the "terrible manicure" comment etc.

These are quite blatant examples, I can't think of the top of my head of any more subtle examples.
