one thing didn't make sense *SPOILERS *

So Jonas spent most of the movie helping Julia... in fact, it was because of him that she recovered so well, and then he helped her after recovery, at great cost to his own family life.... and on top of that, Julia's father gave him a blank cheque if he would just help his daughter...

So it just doesn't make sense that as soon as Julia and her family found out that Jonas wasn't the real boyfriend, they discarded and shunned him.

Sure they would be shocked and dismayed that he lied about who he was, but come on... he did help the daughter tremendously, so where's the gratitude?

Doesn't make sense.
