Rush vs The Strip vs City Homicide

Which Aussie cop show do you think looks the best? And which one do you enjoy the most?

Obviously, this thread will have better responses once the shows debut the week of September 1st. But from the ads, I'm not too sure which one I'll be watching. I'm leaning towards Rush because of the Underbelly actors but then again The Strip is filmed on the Gold Coast and I'm a QLDer. Never seen CH before but I've heard its good

I'll get back to you after I've watched the others.

I haven't seen any adverts for it but people have mentioned it to me. I haven't had any reason to watch Ten since Flight of the Conchords finished. Maybe this show will be good to watch it for one hour a week again.

The Strip looks dumb, in my opinion. Baywatch in Queensland? I can't stand the networks' dramatic "the year's best drama!" and "what you've been waiting for starts here on Nine!" type advertising and what I saw advertising The Strip the other night during the pitiful Scorched was just plain annoying.

Upon first viewing, I have to say that at this stage, in order of preference I choose 1. "City Homicide" 2. "Rush" and 3. "The Strip". It's still early days still for the new kids on the block, so this might change for me yet.

Interesting.

Anyone else?

all three are pretty ordinary, but I would go for rush only for the perve factor. city homicide is ordinary. aaron pedersen needs to remove the pole from his ar$e... i have never seen him so stilted and wooden. the strip is a joke... that female lead is ridiculous. rush started off a bit shaky, but is getting better... and one cannot go past RODGER!

City Homicide is far superior. Rush is pretty ordinary IMO, and 'The Strip' came across(I hate to say this as a Queensland resident) as a CSI-ripoff. Nine was initially marketing it as a Gold Coast version of 'Underbelly' but if that was the intent the writers/producers failed miserably. I don't think we'll be seeing that show again.

The bludger should not be a National Icon.

Rush basically seems like an Aussie version of the Canadian show, Flashpoint. Minus the hot girl that was on Power Rangers.

The Strip, I dunno, just seems pretentious. I think I bowed out after about three episodes.

City Homicide is basically an Aussie version of Law and Order.

Technically though, Rush was made about 4 years before Flashpoint.

Rush is nothing like Flashpoint. The Canadian Show is more like SWAT or, as known in Canada, as ERT (Emergency Response Team). Rush is more like a normal cop show. Actually I like Rush.
Never saw City Homicide.
