Just Watched First Episode

I personally thought it was great. The show is made up of a solid cast including the likes of veteran actress Noni Hazelhurst and the great Shane Bourne. I though the storyline was compelling, even more impressive was the chemistry between Damien Richardson, Aaron Pederson, Nadine Turner and Daniel Macpherson. I hope it lasts - it's much better than the latest addition made to channel 7 on Monday nights; the trepid James Woods vehicle Shark. It would be good if channel 7 screened City Homicide, followed by the second season of Criminal Minds and then Boston Legal, repeats of no repeats, [Boston Legals the best damn show they've screened on that channel for ages.

Anyway, I've seemed to wonder off my point. All in all, I though the show was great, much better than channel nines latest offering Sea Patrol.

As I said in another thread, I personally thought it was pretty bad. I watched about half an hour and couldn't sit through any more. It's trying so hard to be an American cop drama, and it shows. The acting also came across forced.

Hopefully it won't last too long in Criminal Minds' timeslot. Ideally, I would have the Monday night lineup as it is, but if City Homicide has to be in there then I'd have Criminal Minds at 8:30, Boston Legal at 9:30 and City Homicidde at 10:30.

As for Daniel MacPherson. Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. I really don't think he has as much acting skills that people seem to think he has, and I thought he got too much screen time - granted, he didn't have much to work with and the writers gave him way too many cheesy one-liners. *sigh* Keep trying, Dan, you'll get a good one eventually.

I actually liked it and usually hate Aussie dramas, I find them really uncomfortable to sit through but yeah asides from the acting of that 'clark kent' dude (I cringed everytime he said anything)it was alright.

I think Aaron Pederson is a stand out. Sure, his character isn't the most likeable but he's such a great actor and the character is great to watch.

Noni Hazelhurst is also wonderful and Shane Bourne always blows me away when he takes on a serious role.
