Jesus story with Asian symbolism

Okay, the beginning's a bit drawn and it sags in the middle, but the last 3rd of the movie, where the Christian imagery really comes to life, is pretty darn enthralling!!!

The unseen "father".
The hidden crosses.
The resurrection.
Redemption through suffering.
The beauty or "godliness" of suffering.
The Mary Magdalene character.
The John the Baptist/Apostle madman.
Etc., etc. ...

Plus the music was great.
