I would like a 'prequel' where Kline is hunting down Hasford

I think those flashback scenes were pretty much the better part of "I come with the rain" - I would like that part of the story made into a full length film.
It sure would have the potential to be one of the creepier serial killer thriller films and those sculptures really were something.
