I like the Dr.Dolittle movies, and I thought the third one was ok, but it would have been better with Eddie Murphy in it.

don't you just hate it when they make a sequel and they either take out a character, or get a new person to do it. Like in Daddy Day Camp, Eddie Murphy wasn't in it, Cuba Gooding (I think thats his last name) was in it.
I liked 3, it was alright...
But Niall is the ONLY reaosn I wanna see this movie LOL.
& I do still love Kyla Pratt.

This franchise is being milked for way more than its worth. Doctor Dolittle was awesome, Dolittle 2 was reasonably decent but suffered greatly from the loss of the guinea pig character, and 3 I couldn't deal with, but maybe I didn't give it a fair shot. But come on, a fourth one?

It was so funny to watch how our own pets reacted to the animals in the movie, but we were disappointed with the 3rd one and really disappointed with the 4th. They need to stop making them now. They just aren't funny anymore. Oh and apparently our pets thought that the 4th was boring too sense they didn't react at all. lol

Eddie Murphy ruined Dr Dolittle: overacting, unfunny, vulgar and inane. Compare these travesties with the 1960's movie, and I dare anyone to say that the new versions are even a fraction of the quality, wit and intelligence of the original.
Ironically I quite liked Tail to the Chief: no vulgarities and no Eddie Murphy.
The problem with all of these movies is that an Americanised version of Dr Dolittle just does not work.
