What is the technique that Paige(Kelly Mcdonald) suggested to cure Victor's mother?How the hell was she gonna cure Vicotr's mother with that embryo thing(I dont know what that is)Is it possible?

Doubt it is possible, but the impression I got was.

1. Victor impregnates Paige
2. They abort the fetus
3. Use the fetus for its stem cells
4. Since there is possibly a biological or DNA match the experimental stem cell procedure may save mum.
