i believe it was a coke bullet, or basically a device used to sniff cocaine with

i was also wondering that as i watched the movie, something reoccurring in this i found was that scenes were getting cut just as it was getting interesting, i really liked anjelica hustons performance in this, a bit of a morticia addams moment in the photo booth, happy she had aged with grace and still able to make face expressions. the end of the movie was just too much of a shocker.
